On the same day as The Second Son and The Second Daughter left the forest perimeter for their home, The Youngest Son and The Youngest Daughter walked past the path surrounding their families home.

The Youngest Son watched as The Second Son walked from the forest with a strange blood on his hands. Curious The Youngest Son and The Youngest Daughter walked through the woods following the path The Second Son had followed. It was not long before The Youngest Son and The Youngest Daughter came across a small group of Creatures in a clearing.

As The Youngest Son and The Youngest Daughter approached they looked and saw the Creatures carefully examining The Mother’s Healing Tools and Bindings. Curious how the Tools and Bindings came to be left so carelessly in the clearing The Youngest Son and The Youngest Daughter crept closer.

The Youngest Daughter watched as several creatures stood over a puddle of strange blood, weeping. Then seeing the pitiful faces of the morning creatures The Youngest Daughter desired once again to take one and posses it as her own. The youngest daughter quickly reached into the clearing and snatched up the smallest Creature she could see. No sooner than The Youngest Daughter had done this, the Creatures realized they were no longer alone and ran away in fear, taking the Healing Tools and Bindings with them.

The Youngest Daughter cradled and cooed at her terrified prize as the youngest son–still curious as to how and why the Healing Tools and Bindings had come to rest so far from their families home–examined the strange blood. Looking around the clearing, The Youngest Son soon discovered a trail of strange blood leading away and further into the forest. The Youngest Son left The Youngest Daughter and followed the trail of blood until he came upon the body of a Creature decapitated, bound in healing wrappings, and hidden in the forest.

Looking at the flesh of the dead Creature the belly of The Youngest Son ached of hunger. The Youngest Son reached out and took the body of the Creature and he tasted the flesh.

The youngest son and the youngest daughter sat deep in the woods consumed by their prizes, each wishing to keep their prize to themselves, alone and secret. Lest their prizes be taken from them.
