So... has ANY Linux distro ever satisfied you?... EVER?...

If not, don't you think it might be a pebkac issue?... :)

Dude, decide on the distro that works the least suckily for you, and stick with it. If you need, make lists of pros and cons. But stop bounding around, you're driving yourself and all your loved ones crazy. :)

For me, it's Mint 7 for life.

actually, it's already there... I STILL am hesitant to use Mint for my own reasons...

http://fosswire.com/post/2009/6/pulseaudio-bluez-screencast/

he explains that all you need to get this working properly is the latest versions of Pulseaudio, Bluez, pavucontrol, and I assume that would require the pulse g-streamer plugin... all that installed and you should be good to go!

the biggest problem I see is setting the pulse volume controls to default over alsa... as I remember it, pulse is installed but not in a way that it takes alsa sounds, so you can't pipe system sounds into the default sink like you can in fedora... though I may be wrong on this point. I'll expiriment with it tonight.

So, how could the Mint guys (Ubuntu guys) get around that? Mint comes with flash and MP3 support from the start...
